French Quarter Festival

New Orleans' second largest festival is a free four-day annual festival with fantastic music and fabulous food. Spanning six blocks between Mississippi Riverfront and Bourbon Street, this annual event began as a small celebration during the 1984 World's Fair. Have your pick from 21 stages with contemporary and traditional jazz, R&B, New Orleans funk, and Latin just to name a few. Sample jambalaya, blackened catfish po-boys, Cajun meat pies, or other dishes from more than 60 food stalls by the best restaurants. Take dance lessons, shop for arts and crafts, or attend a lecture within walking distance to our French Quarter hotel.
