Location is the highlight

Perfectly located to visit the French Quarter, it is at the corner of Bourbon Street and Canal. Easy access to the nearby restaurants, bars and walking distance to Jackson Square. The beds are nice and firm with 4 pillows. However, remember this is an OLD hotel. Lots of wings to figure out and no real views. The bathtub had rust and gobs of caulking around the spout. There were cracked tiles in the shower. Towels are substandard. TV was fine. Room service is expensive and sucks. They hiked the rates to over $200 during the NFL playoff game weekend so it made for an expensive visit in a hotel that should be rated 2 stars at best

Perfect location

Location is perfect! Less than a block away from Bourbon Street and the trolley. The rooms were spacious, clean and has good amenities. Staff was gentle and they let us make late check-out without charging extra fee

Great location

Location is convenient and beautifully decorated for Christmas. Some rooms are much smaller than others, so you may want to clarify when reserving your room the size and age. We were on a business trip and although one credit card was to reserve all rooms and be used for all room incidentals, some individual's cards were charged and took days for the money to be returned. Please be aware if you use your card to keep on record exactly what they will do with the information

Weekend get away

I stayed here with my wife from the 11th to the 14th of January. I really do not understand why all the bad reviews but honestly my stay was a five stars across the board. We arrived at 8am and Damian at the front desk helped us out. We asked if there was any possibility for an early ck in and after further looking we had a room. After we came downstairs we walked to the concierge desk and were greeted very politely by Federico who actually got off his chair to welcome us. I have been in the customer service industry for the last 20 years. I know what that means. The rooms were clean, the showers had hot water, the coffee maker was clean, and the AC was working perfectly. There are a few who have complained that you can hear the motor of the AC. Can someone please tell me which air conditioner is quite when on. Yes in room 430 you could hear the elevators but so what go to CVS and get ear plugs. I was there for the weekend when the saints played the eagles and guess what the saints won. The hotel, the people were loud and having fun. If you are not those type of people you should not be in New Orleans and much less on Bourbon Street. And finally Corey at the valet was awesome. I will definitely stay here once I'm back in tow

The LA Rams were in town!

First of all my son and I were in the check-in line for 15-20 minutes and did not move a bit. I had to go up to the desk and see what’s was going on. The computers were down. So they took my cell phone number, they would text us when the computers were up and we had to leave our luggage with the bell hop. Couple hours later they texted. They gave us $50 to compensate for our trouble to use at there restaurant. Second, I asked for late check out because our plane flight wasn’t till later. We went out of the room to get breakfast and couldn’t get back in. Apparently the cards a few people weren’t working. People that just got there and people who stayed there like us. I went down to the front desk 3 times and they couldn’t get it. I had to have a maid let me in to my room. Other than that, location was great and we had a good time even though the Rams lost
